To make it easier and clearer for you what areas you have access to at the festival, it is divided into zones. You will get access to them with your wristband.
In general, all volunteers have access to Roskilde Festival and Volunteers’ Village. Additionally, there are several areas with restricted access, where only volunteers with tasks in the area get access.
As a rule, Zone 8 access is assigned. If extended access is needed to carry out your task, the necessary zone will be granted. Your team leader will make sure you receive the wristband you need.
Overview of Zones and Access
One day band
Guests and volunteers who will only be at the festival for one day can get one day wristbands. The wristband is valid for one day from 08:00 (04:00 for one-day volunteers) until the following day at 10:00.
One-day wristbands grant the same access as a Zone 8 wristband on the given day.
First Days wristband
The First Days wristband is personal and is issued to those accredited in People Vol. or Pro. The wristband is handed out and put on at Check-in.
The wristband is intended for one-day volunteers and guests during First Days. The wristband has a chip that allows products to be added.
The wristband grants access to Zone 8 until Wednesday 2 July at 15:00 and again from Sunday 6 July after 04:00.
