The food at Roskilde Festival is minimum 90% organic. The stands are run by clubs, organisations, and professional restauranteurs. All of them contribute financially to the festival’s non-profit purposes.

Food in the official app
It might be difficult to remember where you saw that Asian noodle salad that you desperately need right away. No problem! Check our official Roskilde Festival app. Here, you can easily search for food anywhere on the festival. You can filter results after food type and find what is closest by.
Selecting stands
-
Assortment: Our stands present organic, plant-rich, and global food. Plant-based food is especially prioritised.
-
Climate and environment: We are organic and have a low climate impact on the food. Look after One Planet Plate certification for lowest climate impact.
-
Price: We prioritize that participants with low income and students can afford a quality meal.
-
Quality: We prefer food that is made from scratch with fresh produce above semi-manufactured products.
-
Non-profit: We prioritise stands that use their profits for non-profit purposes, e.g., sports clubs and cultural unions.
-
Originality: We select new stands that stand out from the existing selection of stands.
