It is our ambition for Roskilde Festival to have a clear voice all year round. We are in close dialogue with our festivalgoers and surroundings via our app, website, newsletter, and a lot of social media. We also have our own media house, which produces articles, photos and videos for our app, website, and social media.
App
Roskilde Festival’s official app is your digital guide to the festival. The app gives you an overview of the programme, events, food experiences and much more. As a volunteer, you can log into the app to access special information for volunteers. The app can be downloaded from App Store and Google Play.
Website
On the Roskilde Festival website, you can read news about artists and life on the festival. Dive into reports, interviews and news about everything that makes Roskilde Festival such a special festival.
Keep track of what is going on all year round
Newsletter
The newsletter gathers news about music, ticket sale and much more, so those interested can get a clear insight into what is happening inside and around Roskilde Festival all year.
Press releases
Press releases and other information is published via email and on the website. The purpose of the press release is to give journalists the information necessary to base their coverage of Roskilde Festival on facts.

Tip us about your great story!
We love to tell festivalgoers and volunteers about Roskilde Festival. If you have a tip for a great story, we would like to hear from you!
What: Your great story could be about a project or initiative, a cool experience, or a new service that festivalgoers or other volunteers need to hear about.
Where: If the story is relevant to festivalgoers, we can reach the target group via the website, app or socials depending on the content. If the story is directed at volunteers, we prefer to use the website, app and People.
How: Talk to your Team Leader or contact the outlet in mind directly.
In the official Roskilde Festival app, you have access to your personal digital Wallet. To use it, you must log into the app as a volunteer with your People login and link your wristband to your Wallet. You do this in the following way:
- Open the Roskilde Festival app and click on 'Wallet' (You will be asked to log in if you are not already).
- Click on the small wristband icon in the top left corner.
- Enter your wristband ID, which can be found on the back of your wristband. The ID number consists of a serial number and a security code with letters.
- You can then see your products in your Wallet and follow your usage of vouchers.
View your history by clicking the clock icon in the top right corner.
Transfer food and drink vouchers
You have the option of transferring food and drink vouchers to another volunteer or festival participant. If you want to do this, follow the steps below:
- Open the Roskilde Festival app and click on 'Wallet' (You will be asked to log in if you are not already).
- Select the product you wish to transfer. An item ca be transferred if it says 'Transferrable'.
- Select how many vouchers you wish to transfer.
- Enter the serial number and security code of the wristband you wish to transfer to.
