How much does Smart Ticket cost?
The ticket costs the same as a regular full festival ticket (DKK 2.570 + fee), but the payment is divided into five installments of DKK 514 plus a registration fee. The first installment is deducted from your payment card when you register. You don't pay extra and there are no hidden fees. A one-off fee will be charged in connection with your registration, but beyond that there are no additional fees included in the purchase of your Smart Ticket.
Smart Ticket sales closed on 27 November 2025, and it is no longer possible to purchase a Smart Ticket.
Will I receive my ticket immediately?
You have reserved a ticket for Roskilde Festival 2026 as soon as you have registered for Smart Ticket. After your last payment has been deducted from your payment card, Tickster will send you your ticket. You will receive the ticket during April 2026.
Who can buy a Smart Ticket?
To purchase a Smart Ticket, you must have a bank account in either Denmark, Sweden, or Norway.
In addition, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, a person over the age of 18 must register on your behalf.
Why is the ticket fee on a Smart Ticket higher than on a normal full festival ticket?
The ticket price is the same, regardless of whether you pay the amount in five installments with your Smart Ticket, or you pay the full amount at once. Smart Ticket has higher ticket fees, as there are higher costs associated with selling this type of ticket compared to a normal full festival ticket. This is due, among other things, to the different payment plans, reminders about missing payments and feedback after refunding a Smart Ticket. The ticket fee must only be paid at your registration and NOT at each installment.
Are all payments automated?
Yes. As soon as you have registered for Smart Ticket, you can sit back and look forward to Roskilde Festival 2026. All installments are paid automatically and will be charged to your payment card on the last business day of each month, from 28 November, 2025, through 31 March, 2026.
It is your responsibility to manage your payment plan and ensure that your payment information is up to date.
Can I buy more than one Smart Ticket at the same time?
Unfortunately not. If you want to buy more than one ticket, you must buy the tickets in two or more installments. If you wish to cancel your tickets, you must also do so in two or more rounds, each with its own subscription ID.
What do I do if I lose my payment card?
If we are unable to deduct the payment from your payment card (eg if your payment card has been lost, stolen or expired) you will receive an email with a link to renew your payment information after the payment is declined. If you do not renew your payment details within 14 days, your Smart Ticket will be canceled and you will be fully refunded (excluding the registration fee) within 30 days
How can I keep track of my payments?
As soon as you are registered for Smart Ticket, you can use your e-mail and subscription ID to log in to your MyTickster account. Here you can follow your payments, update your payment information or cancel your ticket. Your log-in information is confidential and you must not pass it on to others.
How do I cancel my Smart Ticket?
You can cancel your Smart Ticket at any time before 30 March 2026 using your MyTickster account. The full amount for your Smart Ticket will subsequently be refunded to your payment card within 30 days. It is not possible to get a refund of the registration fee.
Is there a name on the ticket?
Yes, but the name on the ticket does not restrict others from using the ticket. So you don't have to worry if a friend buys you a ticket or you receive it as a gift.
Can I transfer my Smart Ticket to a friend?
Yes. After your final payment has been charged to your payment card and you have received your ticket from Tickster, you can transfer your ticket to a friend through your MyTickster account.
Can I resell my Smart Ticket?
No, it is unfortunately not possible to resell your Smart Ticket.
Support Young People’s Fight for a Green and Just Future
For an additional 200 DKK on top of your festival ticket, you can support The Green Youth Movement’s work for the climate — giving young people hope and the power to act instead of climate anxiety.
One in five children and young people feel daily worry about the climate crisis. At The Green Youth Movement, that concern is transformed into community and action. Here, young people join forces in the fight for a green and just future — and your support makes it possible.
Your donation goes directly to activities that advance the green agenda and give even more young people the opportunity to engage in climate action.
If you are a Danish citizen, you can also deduct your donation from your taxes — simply provide your CPR number via the email you receive.
Thank you for helping make a difference for the climate, for young communities, and for the future.

We are selling a limited number of children’s tickets to Roskilde Festival 2026. To be able to buy a children’s ticket, the child must be accompanied by an adult ticketholder that the child knows. You must be able to present the child’s Danish health insurance card or a similar form of identification from another country if your child isn't a Danish citizen.
The prices for children’s tickets (10-14 years of age) is DKK 1,315 (including fees), for a full festival ticket, 1,115 kr. (including fees) for a two-day ticket and DKK 730 (including fees) for a one-day ticket. Children under the age of 10 have free access if they are accompanied by an adult they know with a valid wristband. Children above 15 pay normal price.
You can also buy children’s tickets at the entrance if still available.
Please note that Roskilde Festival is an experience designed for adults. When children under 10 and children aged 10-14 participate with a free ticket or a children’s ticket, they must be accompanied by an adult they know who is over 18.
Please note that in Denmark it is illegal to serve alcohol to children under 18 at bars and restaurants. Supermarkets can sell alcohol (with a percentage below 6%) to young people aged 16 or older.
If you have special needs, and you need to bring a companion or carer with you to the festival, you can purchase a Disabled with Companion ticket, which allows you to bring one companion to the festival free of charge. You can buy a Disabled with Companion ticket as either a full festival ticket, a two-day ticket or a one-day ticket.
If you have already purchased a regular festival, Tickster can help you exchange it to a Disabled with Companion ticket.
Please note that you are required to have a valid companion card issued from Danish Disability Organizations or an equivalent foreign companion card to be able to use a Disabled with Companion ticket.
To address the increasing issues with illegal ticket sales and resales, we only sell digital tickets to Roskilde Festival 2026. This means that your ticket is 100% digital and linked to your MyTickster account.
You can therefore only gain entry with the digitally watermarked tickets, which you can access and display via a Wallet app (e.g., Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) or your MyTickster account. Printed tickets or screenshots of tickets will not grant you access.
You can read more about how to download your ticket to a Wallet app here.
If you have tickets for multiple people on your account, you must arrive together. At the entrance, we will scan all tickets from your phone at the same time. If it is not possible to arrive together, you can transfer tickets to others through your MyTickster account.
You can buy tickets through our official sales partner, Tickster.
We strongly discourage purchasing tickets through unofficial platforms and channels.
Is it necessary to create a profile with Tickster?
When you purchase tickets on Tickster.dk, a MyTickster profile will be created for you. This is necessary because your ticket is linked to your profile, and we need your contact information to reach you with practical details, updates, or other relevant information. It’s important that you provide a valid email address when buying your ticket and thereby creating your profile.
You can read more about Tickster’s policy on the processing of personal data here.
I have purchased my ticket on Marketplace, Den Blå Avis or the like. Can you tell me whether my ticket is valid or fake?
Unfortunately we cannot help verify/control the authenticity of tickets purchased through friends or acquaintances or other platforms than Tickster. Therefore we strongly encourage that you only purchase tickets through Tickster, so that you can be certain that the tickets you purchase are in fact valid.
Can I resell my tickets?
To ensure that the ticket is valid and not misused, we recommend using Tickster’s resale platform when reselling tickets or purchasing resold tickets.
The resale platform will be available during the first quarter of 2026.
Please note that tickets can be resold up until 24 hours before the start of the festival. After this point, it will no longer be possible to resell your tickets.
Can I give my tickets to a friend?
Even though your name appears on the tickets, they can be used by someone else. In some cases, tickets are personal, and if so, this will be clearly stated when you purchase the ticket. Please note that it is not allowed to give your festival wristband to another person, and therefore you can no longer give your ticket to a friend once it has been exchanged for a wristband.
If you wish to transfer your tickets to a friend, you must do so through your MyTickster profile.
Read more about ticket transfer here.
Please note: Tickets may not be used for commercial purposes such as package deals, competitions, resale, or similar activities unless approved by Roskilde Festival.
Can I exchange my tickets for another type of ticket or another day?
As a general rule, it is not possible to exchange your tickets for another day or change them to a different ticket type.
According to Section 18, Subsection 2 of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, the purchase of tickets is not covered by the right of withdrawal, and it is therefore not possible to cancel your ticket purchase.
TERMS OF PURCHASE
Roskilde Festival reserves the right to make changes to the programme. No refunds are given in the event of artist cancellation.
Refunds can only be made in the event of cancellation of the entire festival.
If the entire festival is cancelled, tickets will only be refunded to the original purchaser of the tickets for private resale.
There is no right of cancellation when purchasing tickets.
You can see the full terms of purchase here.
TERMS OF WRISTBANDS
Your ticket will be exchanged for a festival wristband when you arrive at the festival.
You are required to wear a valid wristband at all times during your stay at the festival.
If you are staying at the festival without a valid wristband, you will receive a fine.
Your wristband is personal and may not be shared with or transferred to others, even if it is attached in a way that makes it possible. The wristband must also not be modified, cut, sewn or otherwise altered.
Transferred wristbands or wristbands that have been modified are not valid access tokens.
If you won’t be using your festival ticket yourself, you can send tickets to your friends before the festival through your MyTickster profile.
To transfer your tickets, follow these steps:
- Log in to MyTickster - you can do that here
- Click on Create transfer
- Select one or more tickets you want to send
- Click on Transfer selected
- Enter the recipient’s email address
- Confirm the transfer
Once you’ve completed the steps above, the recipient will receive an email notifying them that one or more tickets have been transferred to them. The message will also ask them to accept the transfer.
After the recipient has accepted the transfer, you will no longer be able to download the ticket. If you have already downloaded it, your ticket will now be invalid.
On your MyTickster profile, you can always see which tickets you’ve sent and to whom.
With Tickster’s Resale feature, it is possible to sell or buy festival tickets in a secure way.
As a seller, you create a Resale by logging in to MyTickster and sharing a unique link with the buyer. The purchase is then completed in Tickster’s webshop. Once the payment has been completed, the tickets are automatically transferred to the buyer.
Resale is not an open marketplace where buyers can browse available resales. It is therefore the seller’s own responsibility to find a buyer.
Please note that you currently need to have a Danish bank account in order to sell your tickets.
You can buy a gift card that can be used for tickets to Roskilde Festival. You choose the amount yourself, however it must be divisible by 50 DKK and be at least 250 DKK. The gift card is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
You can buy a ticket gift card here.
If you have received more than one ticket gift card, you can easily use multiple gift cards to pay for the same ticket. Just enter them one at a time during checkout.
Please note that the gift card can only be used for tickets. It cannot be used in our webshop.
