We want everyone to be safe and secure when moving around on the festival site. At the same time, we must be able to continue creating the festival even if the Danish authorities impose tighter restrictions on driving.
This is why we are significantly reducing driving on the entire festival grounds. We are doing this by, among other things, tightening the requirements to obtain a driving permit – especially for driving in areas with festival audiences.
It is important that we all support this new initiative and treat fellow volunteers at gates with respect.
Driving permits on RF26
To obtain a driving permit on RF26, driving must be necessary to be able to carry out your role, and you must have exhausted all other options. If you believe that you need a driving permit, you must contact your team leader.
If you are granted a driving permit, your name and driving license number must appear on the driving permit, and you must always present your driving license when entering the area. Remember to have your driving license ready so that we can avoid excessive waiting times and long queues.
If you do not have your license or driving permit with you, you will be refused entry at the gates. Violating the restrictions will result in expulsion and/or cutting of your wristband.
In the outer areas, there will be speed-reducing measures in several places – all so that we can travel safely and securely in the festival area.
Contact the Permit Office for further information.
