The Roskilde Festival Charity Society organises the festival and donates all profits to initiatives that support young people’s wellbeing through art and culture.
If you volunteer with the Roskilde Festival Charity Society at RF27, you must also be a member. Once you have joined a volunteer team, we will send you an invitation to become a member.
If you volunteer with one of our partner associations that helps create Roskilde Festival, you will also receive an invitation, but membership is not a requirement. We still hope that you will become a member and support our purpose.
Each volunteer role listing will state whether membership of the Roskilde Festival Charity Society is a requirement for the role.
You can check you membership status here: Foreningen Roskilde Festival
Why membership matters
Roskilde Festival is one of the few major festivals still run by a non-profit association. This gives us the freedom to create a festival on our own terms, with volunteering and community at its heart.
We want to preserve that freedom in an increasingly commercial festival market. That is why we are strengthening the association by bringing more of the volunteers who create the festival into the community behind it.
As a member, you can help shape the festival’s future through the association’s democratic processes and take part in special members-only activities throughout the year.
