It should feel safe to attend Roskilde Festival. Therefore, transgressive behavior is never accepted, and this procedure outlines how you can get help if you experience transgressive behavior or witness someone else being subjected to it.
Definition of Transgressive Behavior
Transgressive behavior is defined as behavior that is discriminatory, violent, threatening, or creates a sense of insecurity. It may be a one-time incident or occur repeatedly.
Transgressive behavior can include:
- Physical: For example, physical violence or assault, touching without consent, leering, or stalking
- Verbal: For example, derogatory, hateful, or sexist comments
- Non-physical: For example, sharing/displaying offensive images, derogatory or sexist comments online, ignoring discomfort or distress, digital harassment
If you have been subjected to transgressive behavior at the festival, you can get help by approaching the towers marked with an info ‘I’ on the map in each camping area. They can contact the festival's emergency unit and our Social Workers if you need psychological crisis support.
You can also seek guidance at our Soft Spots, marked with a speech bubble with a heart on the map. Here, you can meet trained volunteers and talk about experiences you’ve had or more general concerns.
If you're unsure what to do or what kind of help you need, you can call our helpline anytime at +45 78 74 40 07, and they will guide you.
