How you find your spot when you arrive at Roskilde Festival depends on whether you have booked Special Camping, been allocated a spot in Community Camping, or expect to stay in our open camping area, Regular Camping.
Special Camping
If you have purchased a Special Camping product from our webshop, you will receive an email with information about your exact location approximately one week before the start of the festival. However, this does not apply to Caravan Camping, MC Camping, Sleep-In Buses or Get A Late Spot, where you will be allocated a spot upon arrival.
If you have purchased your Special Camping after June 13th, you will not receive an email with information about your spot, but you must instead contact the nearest tower when you arrive to be informed of your location.
Community Camping
If you have been accepted into one of the Community Camping areas, you will receive more information directly from the area where you will be staying.
Regular Camping
All of Camping East, Camping South and the upper part of Camping West are reserved for Community Camping and Special Camping, and you cannot freely find a place in one of the areas but must instead move to our Regular Camping area in West to find a place there.
Please note that it is not allowed to “reserve” extra space in the camping area (e.g. by using tarpaulins or similar).
If you arrive on Saturday, June 28t, and you cannot find a free space in West, you can contact our Camping Allocation booth, located in Camping East near the bridge to Camping West, where you can be directed to which area you can find a space in.
Camping Allocation is open all day and night on Saturday, June 28th. You can see its location on the entrance map.
We recommend that you familiarize yourself in advance with our rules regarding what items you are not allowed to bring into the camping area, so that you do not risk bringing something that will be rejected at the entrance or by the campsite hosts.
